I need schematics for a IGT S+ Processor board 755-057-04.  I 've looked at the Liberty Belle set and they don't match up to my board.  I have others that I found on the Net but no joy.  Can someone help me?

It sounds like you somewhat might have one of the newer, revised version of the S+ MPU boards.
(The "04" at the end of the ASSY NO. gives it away...)
Can you upload a good clear photograph of it, to this thread?
Is it a 16MHz board?
I have a ASSY NO. 755-057-0 16MHz MPU board in front of me -
made in 1995.
I also have another S+ MPU with the ASSY NO. 755-057-04 but it's a 10MHz board.
This one is dated 1994.  Scratch Head

I'm not precisely sure what the "04" number was designated for?
Sometimes they put additional labels on it as well such as: P/N 755-115-00 or P/N 755-155-03

Okay,
I dig some digging around: stir the pot / get cooking
It seems that the:
"-00" means the overall Computer Draw of the processor board component-side.
"-10" means the Board Schematic REF.
"-30" means the Raw Board.
"-50" means the Assembly Drawing of the board.
"-04" means the MPU board for the V2 Assembly. (2nd Version?)

I have the paper schematics page 1 --2 -3 --4 --of the IGT board if needed with complete wiring routes and chip numbers and placement .

i could be all wet the "04" could just mean number of pages in manual -which there are four seperate scematics of that board

the  boards are the same on schematics

It does appear from your photo that your MPU is a 10MHz board and was made in 1993.
The 4 page schematic drawings from the manual Rocket mentioned - will match your board.

good job Bunker ----I was wondering how the hell i was going to post the schematics
because mine are 3-feet long each out of the manual .. but for some reason my manual seems to have more data
than the one you pulled your pictures from .. because it gives detailed explanation with the silly >>> goes to >>>>U-54 ETC
off to the side .

but perhaps yours do but you just cant see it even on the  click enlarge view !!!
but there are 4 pages we both agree on .

my manual is dated 1988 IGT S+  i pulled that info from

THE OTHER THOUGHT OF THE 04 --03 --ECT is was the board was made in 2004 2003 etc its the same board that goes back a decade !!
i noticed over the years of handling S+ BOARDS & PE -POKER BOARDS --the color ---the dark green board was a later manufacture date .
the light green color was a early manufacture date

I copy & pasted pages 117-120 in Section 5: Components & Assemblies
from the Service & Parts Manual dated June 18th, 1993.
Pasted below is Pg.99 from a different Service & Parts Manual dated June 25th, 1993.
I don't like this particular document because it's so unclear to read.

Below that, is a photo of light green S+ MPU 10MHz board you were speaking of.
There's is no dated etched in anywhere in this board that I can see.
However, on the back, it is etched 755-057-30 REV. H
You'd think it would be a later board? >>>

It's weird the way they label and etch the boards and parts.  Scratch Head
This is the same light green MPU board I posted above, but on the back it's etched 755-057-30 REV H.
You'd think it was a later revised board huh? >>>

You guys are the greatest for the posts!!!!

I can't speak for the IGT but ----back in the day-----I did component level repair on PCs and the assembly numbers on the processor boards were just changes in the method of silk screening the board itself.  Sometimes it was a different comany who manufactured the raw board, sometimes it was some minor solder run change to eliminate some crosstalk, and sometimes it was component changes due to some different method of manufacture.  But the critical part was the actual part number assigned to the board.  If that number varied, it meant a significant change to the circuitry or logic itself and subsequently a change in the schematics.

Usually you had to match the prints up to the dash number of the board so that you knew what you were dealing with.  Well, like I said, thanks for the help.  I had lost sight of how much fun (and frustration) board repair can be.

What kind of board level tools do you presently own?
Oscilloscope, testers, etc, etc.
Are you getting back into it?

I started out with just a multimeter and oscilloscope, never had any test jigs or anything like that.  I used to work on small to medium scale mainframes where we had to do a lot of "O" work on them and had to put in "hand loops"--programs you dialed in on the front maintenance panel---to see what registers got what bits, etc.  It was fun and I got pretty good at it.  But then when another company bought us, things changed.  Too much politics and no fun anymore.  So I started my own business and that's when the board repair on PCs started.  It was almost all TTL logic.

I've found some and they seem to check out so far.  They have -10 and -11 markings like TZTech posted plus have individual sections on "What ifs" like "What if you have no segment display".  It shows the complete "LoGIc" (that's for you Captain Happy) isolated to the problem.  It's quite lengthy.  I'll try and get it posted on Monday.

That manual basically just tells you to replace the MPU board all the time...  Tongue Out
I didn't think you wanted that one.  Duh!
