Here is a picture of two Bally Gaming "ZEUS" machines-Alpha and Cinevision.  They Do exist.  Were set for release in 2/2009.  Pictures from the G2E 2008 Booklet --"Internal Use only".  Were also set for Washington from what I could see -Central determantion.  This is in reply to the other "Zeus' threads but in a Bally Flavor for you.  Sorry,  This is the only picture I can find for now.  I have some larger pamphlets somewhere on this beast.  Sorry pic's are so small ---B.   This would have made it to their "Greek Hero Series"--Bellerophon, Heracles, Jason, Perseus etc..  ===== arrow.

Looks like they had the idea first to go thru the trouble with development.  Somewhere out there these games exist----------Anyone--- Scratch Head.  This again is a "rare" one.  Good luck and pay good  money if you find one/some.  B.

I will eventually break down and take a picture of the actual machine down the road here.  I think the "brains" here are researching this and "may" come up with some interesting info----B.

I really wonder what the connection is between Bally and WMS.  Back in the pinball days, Bally/WMS was, as far as I know, one company.  Pinball titles would typically alternate as to which name they were manufactured under -- one WMS, the next Bally, the next WMS, and so on.  When WMS moved into slots, it seemed that WMS and Bally acted as competitors.  In the slot world, their operating system (from what I've seen of attendant menus at the casino) look nearly identical, and I've seen some WMS slot products with Bally nameplates on them.

Bally is selling Super Jackpot Party (a WMS title) for Washington state gaming use.

Does anyone know the scoop of the relationship between the two companies?

I didn't mean to imply that Bally was ripping off WMS or anything like that, but rather I'm curious to know how close those two companies (still) are.  You don't see IGT lending popular slot titles to Bally or Konami or anyone else...

I think it's sheer laziness on the part of WMS. They don't want to get into the lottery slots game and Bally is already waist deep in it, so they lend titles to the other.

Maybe once, but not now. WMS just sued Bally for patent infringement. There's some mystery over why, and why now - speculation is it's to upset Bally's plans for the 2010 G2E exhibition.
