I'm thinking of getting a hydraulic table lift.   What do you suggest?

Is this worth it?

I have this one. It works GREAT.
I use it load machines in and out of my pick-up and up on the work bench.

At this time it appears to be more $$$ than the others that you found. However if you have a Harbor Freight in your city you could pick it up and save on the freight.

I'm looking at the freight now-  it's nuts -

costs more to ship then the cost of the item.

The Harbor Freight one on sale for $149 seems like a good deal
heck for under $100 you can't go wrong....my only question is
those of you that have this model the specs quote: Min Lift Height In Inches  9"
what do you guys do he man lift it up the 9in or can you tilt the machine back
far enough to slide it on the platform.

I might have to get one myself
instead of always needing help lifting them all the time.

I have a hand cart that I use. I have it on cart and tilt to get end of slot on table
then just push it on table. There is a rubber pad that comes with it. I took it off so it will slide.
I have a bad back so if I can do it anyone can. You just have to get you movement down.
First few time's it gave me a ruff time until I got it down pat. Now It's a snap to move one.

Get rid of the anti-skid pad.

Fair enough..if I can get a slant top S2000 down the stairs by myself
then I should be golden with this cart..huh

I like the idea of being able to use this cart when I want to pull
a machine off the stand and work on it with more elbow room.

Even better the next time I sneak down a full machine and set it up
with no help, I can just tell the wife when she asks is that new....
I say...Nah I just changed the kit.

She already lost count anyway.

You can,
but it's easier to put the machine on a hand truck and balance it while pushing it upright from the hand truck.

This is what I was thinking too - It would be nice to have the ability to move the machines into the other part of the basement easily.  If I had to have work done or something.  

I want to upgrade to 200 amp electric service and the machines are near the box.

I know I moved slot's a heck of a lot in the last 3 weeks since I got the 4 from Jim. I had an Assembly line going
where I'd pull off stand and do same thing to all. then start over doing something else.
If I didn't have the table I'd still be @ it. I could not have got by without it. Best money I spend.

I also got the cart from Harbor freight for under $100.   It's always on sale for $129 and this past February it was $97.  Try talking to the manager and say something like " It was $129 a month or so ago; can you match that price ".  It worked for me. You can also save your receipt until it goes on sale and they will refund you the difference.  .... The cart works great... and definitely lose the mat.

I realize that this is way out of the price range of most of us home slot owners, but Joey has one, and it makes life very easy when moving lots of slots. It has a blade platform that goes all the way down to the ground. and it keeps the slot level except for the final two-inches or so.

Of course, it's $836. + $100+ SH   If I were actually going to buy it, I'd look for one locally to avoid the SH.

I got the same as Neon did with harbor freight back 5-6 yrs ago for 99.99 with free shipping with piles of discount coupons
i had accumulated and purchased 2 at the time . funny one was red and the other yellow ?? same unit
but i purchased over 500.00 in one wack .. they are great company to deal with . I get a new catalog every two weeks
and 3 master or 4 master catalogs a year .. the more you buy the more you get off ..

thats a nice unit STAT but for homeowner in most homes consider weuight of slot 235lbs and that monster you have the link has to go 350lbs.  or more it would  cut up most linolium floors without plywood runners are scatter rugs --plus if its like fork lift the cieling  above may get a poke through on way up lol
