I realize that this is way out of the price range of most of us home slot owners, but Joey has one, and it makes life very easy when moving lots of slots. It has a blade platform that goes all the way down to the ground. and it keeps the slot level except for the final two-inches or so.

Of course, it's $836. + $100+ SH   If I were actually going to buy it, I'd look for one locally to avoid the SH.

thats a nice unit STAT but for homeowner in most homes consider weuight of slot 235lbs and that monster you have the link has to go 350lbs.  or more it would  cut up most linolium floors without plywood runners are scatter rugs --plus if its like fork lift the cieling  above may get a poke through on way up lol

Actually, it hold 750lbs, not 350. It never cut up Joey's floors in the shop, and you won't poke your ceiling unless you do something silly. Generally, you raise it to the same height as the stand and just slide the slot on or off. There should never be a reason to lift the slot higher than the stand height. You can also lower it almost to the ground and still move it around.

They may have a lighter duty model for less money, but it would still cost big bucks and I agree that it's more than most home owners need. Still, it's a nice unit.

This is the best deal I have found on a lift truck.  Heavy duty and works great for stacking machines on shelves too.  I have upgraded mine with the pneumatic wheels which does not damage floors, 122" lift height worked great for hanging drywall on my garage ceiling too.

I have one like above that when  do my hostal trips on my back . they work great for getting you out of bed .
and putting you upright when you cant bend only roll & if you roll out of bed with out acohol induced --it hurts like hell .

also I have table similar to lift macine on left -- that that is horizontal that straps you in like in stone age idea (nicknamed the rack )


 i frequently use  to sread my spine apart from compresion.

 since it goes by body weight at my 218 lbs 6-feet 1-"  they base the pull which with a 100 lb --115 bs pull for 15 minutes puts anybody with compresson trouble like myself is  in heaven for the day . until things settle back in uncomfort zone .

you never start at the high point pulling the back a normal pull would start at 1/2 body weight then wrk up over a few weeks
you wonder how or who thought of what first ??

the probem is cost----- the lifting machine is under 1000.00 bucks the medical one is 5000.00--grand !!  same thing but with a couple straps and a timer ..
and realy need a second person to adjust straps while you set yourself up on "THE RACK " OH WHAT A RELIEF IF YOU NEVER HAD IT DONE !!

If you are referring to the expensive ones that I and Rocket posted, then yes, you can control how fast they lower, although the final tilt at the very bottom can sometimes come as a surprise. I'm sure that you can do the same with the Harbor Freight style platforms, otherwise they wouldn't be very useful, but I've never used one.

I read a couple of reviews on Amazon for less expensive units in which the reviewer claimed that the hydraulics wore out soon after purchase. I would take that with a grain of salt and the axiom: "You get what you pay for."

the early ones of pictures the yelow table you just raise to table or slot stand height and walk it off the lift to tabe top or to slot stand  .
no reason to release the hydraulic release if its going to be slid from one platform to a bench or slot stand ??

most have a proportioning valve that lets it creep dwn at a slow rate

the lift table stays put until you release it .

ITS NOT GOING TO DROP -----it would come crashing to your feet or other things sticking out of your person --lol and remove them fast lol

Just keep your big, fat, feet away from the release pedal and you'll be alright.

I'm still trying to find out if it lowers gradually -  I really can't see someone putting 500 pounds on the thing then hitting release and it just drops to the floor.    It should work like a car lift and just gracefully and slowly retract to the floor.

the one i have wth handle the tighter you pull handle the faster it drops

most all good made nes have a proportioning valve mandatory for UL  specs so it does not drop like i stone off a bridge at 90 mph

Well I bought it -  as it turns out my doorbell went dead today.    The transformer and electric box is directly behind one machine.    The only access is to move the machine. There's no space to the left or right.

I also have a Wesco machine lift at my warehouse.
It was given to be because the hydraulic seals were shot.
I went to order a re-seal kit and was shocked.  They wanted $115.00 for 12 seals.
Figured I would just match them up with Parker seals, but that was a no go also. I found out how they can manage to get so much $$$ for the seal kit.
They had their own special size seal made for them.    Thought they had me by the short hairs, but 30 min on a lathe and it now takes standard sized O-rings.
Cost me $3.45 for all the seals and it works great.

Sounds more like fleapay.  $1.99 for the tester and $172.90 SH.   
I guess they'll have to send the hydraulic table with the DVM so you can lift the multi-tester out of the delivery truck.
