Hello Everyone;
            Just a short intro, Im Gunnerbill. I got into the Slot Games just alittle while ago (Like two week ago) I purchased a IGT I Game "Tabasco" and A "catch a wave" I have been pestering the heck out of Kirk (He's the best) he is very understanding, and will help anyone, I wish I has a hundred Neighbors like him. Hail  (Kirk, I just want to give you a break over the weekend, everybody desirves a quite weekend ) applause

   Ok, here is my problem, I have two uprights, and a total of 6 games. Each game has it own Tray and 3902 board. Every game that I load into the Tabasco upright machine, plays fine and allows me to insert up to $1000 to play and does a hand payout for anything over a $1000.

    But, On my Catch a Wave upright, no matter what game I load, disable hopper and set Denominations and max play, it will only allow me to insert $400 Max, and does a handpay at $400 everytime. I am thinking the only thing different is the WMA. Is it my WMA-12.  I was told it has the lated updates to except the newest $5.

    I need guidance, Im an old dog but I learn new tricks !!

Hi Gunnerbill,

Welcome to  nlg  Kirk is one of the good guys for sure, and I'm sure you'll find many others here who are more than willing to share their knowledge with you too.

Do you have a keychip for your games?  There is an EEPROM chip on the backplane that stores that type of information for the machine.  Using a keychip allows you to change it.

You can also use a separate EEPROM chip for each one of your 3902 boards which will allow you to keep your credits, statistics, game options, etc.   More information on that can be found in this thread:

Post some pictures of your machine when you get a chance, folks here love pictures!  yes

Cliff;

       I have a keyChip0022, I have to use it each time I change boards. Kind of a pain. I just ordered Serial Eepron 24c16. I intend to try the little project. I feel like a caveman alot of the time.

       On the new boards I just purchased, the Batteries were dead, so I just changed out the old batteries with easy cell Battery Holders sockets, Again, Kirk was nice enough to provide me with a few.  My next project is to convert all bulbs to LED's.

    As for pictures, that's an easy task, I'll do that one day soon.
