My s2000 slant top Jeannie came up with a dead battery followed by a ram error and a very very loud two tone alarm that does indeed demand attention. I replaced both onboard batteries and now assume I will need to reset the machine. Can anyone point me to some step by step instructions as well as what set chip to use,  if needed that is.  Poor Jeannie.
Thanks
Mike

okay once you replace the battery you will get a ram error you open her up and  insert the reset key turn it once then look at your netplex display it will tell you to hold the test button for like 3 sec then close the door, you might have to turn the reset key a few times till you get to that part.... once you close door it should boot itsself back up hopefully, otherwise you might need to do a ram clear.... im no expert but when i poped out my battery thats what i did and it worked......

Thanks,  she is back up and running,  although without the 3800+ credite that were in it before.  The only thing I have not tested is if it is set to payout thru coin or printer.  Take care... running out to pickup a coin-op air hockey table today,  can't wait!
