I have two E2000 machines, one of which i don't have up n running.  I haven't had these machines long.  The one that is not working has all the parts for the sound upgrade (board, transformer, cable, & speaker).  The one I'm wanting to install it into to has all the hard wiring.  My questions being, is it just as simple as switching all the hardware?  Will the game chip support it?  The #'s on the chip are 501088  1212  cxm.  Any insight would be appreciated.

besides the components you have - the P1 game prom has to have the ES (sound) option - I will look it up tomorrow.

501088 does not have the sound option - you need 541488 which I have.
