Hi, I just bought a Cherry Master 96 off Craigslist for my basement.  I made changes to the dip switches (without documenting them beforehand of course. Duh!)  Now when you win...  Your winnings go to a "SCORE" area at the top of the screen, instead of back to the Credits (therefore the won credits are unusable)...

I have tried changing almost all of the Dip Switches and nothing seems to work...

I don't know much about these, but when you open the front of the cabinet there are 2 "counters" on the left 4 push button things (wires aren't connected to 2 of them) and a ticket dispenser on the right...

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks!

Those machines can be configured to be wired a number of ways because of the various boards around.
Basically, there are only 2 switches needed...one is for the accounting "books" while the other switch
allows you to get into the set up options.

If you can give us the EXACT name of your game model - we may be able to direct you to a website place
that has many manuals available for various cherry master boards.
Hopefully the website will have the manual you need for your board.

I am pretty sure it is a new cherry 96...  I have a manual that I printed off,  but I can't decipher what I need to change to get rid of the "SCORE" thing...

If you don't have a ticket dispenser, turn the high-lighted
green boxes to the "OFF" position on the dips.

Hey, both of those Dip Switches are set to off (all of the Dip Switches on 4 and 5 are set to off...)

Any other thoughts or trouble-shooting ideas?

Thanks so much for the response...

I'm wondering...did you reset the program after the dip switch change?

I turned it off and back on...  Is there something else that I am supposed to do?

I think you're supposed to turn the power off and move the toggle switch.
Then , turn the power back on.
Never move the toggle switch while there's power.
If someone did this to your board before you got it - it could be screwed.
