Found 'em, NICE!

Why didn't you buy the sidewheel while you were at it? Then you would have had a place to put your slots, and a few months down the road, you could head to LA and open your own casino!  Hail Hail arrow Crazy

Hopefully she hit's a jackpot.  I always tell my wife that I'm better to pay for the finest restaurants and hotels just to stay away from the "free meals" or "free stays" that the casinos give for playing.  We still go though....

Thanks,

I agree, most of my "FREE BUFFETS/MEALS" cost at least $100 - $300 - even $ muted ,000+!!!  bust gut laughing On rare occassion they were free with some cash back as well! I consider them entertainment! propeller

55K, WOW!!! Good Luck. You are doing your part to stimulate the economy.  applause applause applause waving flag waving flag Hail Hail

$55k washed at a theoretical loss rate of:

11% (89 payback slot) = $6,050   comped at 5% of expected loss = $300, comped at 15% = $900 (this would include all RFB plus any gifts and cash back)
8%   (92 payback slot) = $4,400   comped at 5% = $220, comped at 15% = $660
6%   (94 payback slot) = $3,300   comped at 5% = $165, comped at 15% = $495

So you might be able to figure out how generous they're being with their comps based on what you've gotten back. Figure rooms at the casino rack rate, not retail.

If you play $3 a spin (whether it's 3 single dollar credits, 300 penny credits, or 150 two-cent credits) at 600/hr, that's about 31 hours of play. Video slot play can top 900 spins per hour, depending on the player, so if you're playing $6 a spin at 900/hr between the two of you you could rack up those 11,000 points in as little as 10 hours of tandem play. Of course, smaller bets and slower play would take longer.

<ADD> 700,000 points reflects $3.5 million in action. $3500 cash back (aside from all other comps) is 0.1% of the amount wagered. It's closer to 1%-2.5% of your theoretical loss, give or take.

How long did it take you to build 700,000 credits? Scratch Head 2

The 700,000 is for both of us it,s been growing for about 10 years, but in harrahs in nc  they don,t give free food  so we use those points for food and they take 2500 points for us both, this year we are only using my card to play free play  i get  and maybe a few hundred more each trip, we been putting most the play on my wifes card , theres no way we can both play to get  11,000 points each  so we will only try for 1 diamond card this year and we have 2 months to get 2500 more points, also its a 500 mile rt trip to go , thur we left at 7am  got home at 8.00pm gave them 4 hours of play

Why don't you both play on one account? Scratch Head  Every casino I've ever been to will give you multiple cards for one account, and husband and wife team play gives you an edge over single players. If I were you I wouldn't split one nickel of play into a second account.

Duh! Duh! Duh!  The amount played does not equal money out of pocket, sometimes I just see a figure and go  arrow arrow arrow.   That being said, at an 89% payback is probably around where my LIFETIME wages are at.  There was a very long period of time where I didn't go to Vegas.  In fact when I turned 21 I was chomping at the bit to go, took 3 days there and didn't return until I was 30, then at 33.  Now that we have local casinos here with Class III machines, my contribution to the economic stimulus and to the school budget has increased significantly.  rotflmao rotflmao rotflmao

What "extra" benefits do you get out being diamond?  I have a friend who has the Amex Centurion (Black Card) and he gets is  mooners kissed pretty much anywhere he goes with it.  It's crazy the amount of money he had to spend on his old Platinum card in order to get "invited"
