Thanks Bunker ! While I am waiting for the new power supply ,I wanted to test the one I have.I swear I ran across how to do that with an extension cord somewhere on here, anybody know where that was at ?  Thanks for the help you guys are awsome!

The only extension cord test that I recall was one that Bunker preformed on a hopper. I should add I don't remember what he did, or WHY.

I know it is a PITA to do so but I would remove the mother board and inspect it as well.

Thanks foster! That would probably be a good idea while I'm waiting for the results. I have read on here that they do go out too.

Here's an update on this mess!!  Sent my board and power supply to SamRon slots ( Ron your awesome!!! Thanks for all the help you've been giving me! Clap Clap) They tested the board and power supply, both checked out good. They re-rammed the board shipped it back with a mother board,I replaced the mother board, put everything back together,Ron walked me through the set up and BAM! played the game for 3 hours straight.THEN IT CRASHED, Silly Me! Silly Me! flashed netplex link is down and does nothing but light the florecent bulbs and gives me two blinking amber bulbs at the top of the main board. Ron is sending me a new board and I guess we'll see what happens next. Anybody else ever hear of this? Scratch Head Thanks for the help!

Netplex link is down occurs somewhere during the clear/re-key process.  Bad socket on game board?  If a new board didn't fix it, I would suspect maybe a screwy SB chip.  To narrow things down, do you have another game handy that you could install?  Perform a clear/key with the new game installed and see if you get the same results.  If you did, I would suspect a bad game board.  If the new game installed plays and doesn't fizzle out, then your SB chip has issues.

I assume the battery is good too?

Thanks,
Jason

I'd like to find the exact cause and I think the way to do that is to ask if
while playing the machine for 3 straight hours - did at any time did you open the door?
If so, what exactly did you do when you opened the door?

By the way,
According to the manual, when both the amber LEDs are flashing - that means the 256k RAM is good.
However, that's only when a Clear chip is installed.
Those two amber lights should not be flashing when the game is running.

Were you trying to install a Clear chip?
