I just purchased Two Bill Validator door Locks for my 2 S Plus machines.

Both Cams are just slightly do long for the Bill Validator's.  They do not clear the cam slot inside the Validator doors.
The Cams measure 3 cm from the center of the double D hole to the end of the CAMs (approx 1 and 3/16 inch long)
The size I need are about 1 to 1 and 1/16 inch from the center double D hole.

Are there more than one size of Cam for S Plus Bill Validator doors?

A hacksaw or bench grinder will make it  shorter.

 Agree with Post

But to answer thre other question, yes there are different sizes (like for the belly glass door, etc).

Hmm...Yup...I'd go with a nice little trim using a bench grinder...  yes

Bench Grinder is what I was thinking also.

I'll take it to work with me tomorrow and make it a little shorter.

If you end up buying more for other machines or for other locks on that machine, take the measurements with you and the locksmith should be able/willing to cut it for you when you buy the lock. That's what I did after hand filing my first tang (The only tool I had at the time. Duh!  Case hardened steel is a beach to file. bust gut laughing)

David  They are only mild steel, not case hardened.

Wow, I'm weaker than I thought. It took me ages to file down that thing. Duh! hissy fit
That was back in 2000 or so. I didn't have anything except a metal file.
