Hello,

I have a supercontroller with a cable connected to the J3 and a DB9 to connect to a computer.
I would like to develop flash animations that will be displayed on a plasma screen (with PC) with the amount of the jackpot.
Is there a program that reads what supercontroller send? or is it necessary that I developed this (in Visual Basic for example).

Thanks you, and sorry for my very bad english Cheesy

English is fine.

I am not aware of any Mikon to Plasma interface.

The Supercontroller outputs 2 line serial (Data + Gnd) which is fed into one or more Con2 controllers for the Led displays.
There is also a Supreme display which allows you to download graphic sequences and is then also fed from the Supercontroller.

THe chanllenge will be to read the serial feed from the Supercontroller but the VB should be a snap to display the progressive amount where you want once you have the data.

Thank You !!

First, thank you for your interest at my problem.

I know that :
Bally has developed a program that reads the jackpot progressive of CON2, with a cable connected on the "Serial Port J3" but the program is locked with a key HASP.
I have this cable (with chip Maxim232).

I dont want hack this program but I would like to develop my own.
In the documentation of CON2 (User Manual, etc ...) is it There's the data frame sent on port "Serial Interface J3"?

How i can access to "Submit new file" area ?

Thanks very much !!!

Downloads were killed many a year ago.....someone complained that NLG might be acting as a library for slot manuals which was not covered by copywrite fair-use.
We did have a upload section for a while so members could exchange documents that were too big to email. This was cleared about every 30-60 days.
The issue is that this started to attract files disquised as PDF or DOC that carried some pretty malicious payloads. So while the forum software doesn't allow us to delete the section it does allow us to put a password on which effectively shuts it down all the same.

With respect to your need for a manual ....... You've Got Mail

There is a CON2 to Plasma unit widely used in Australia, New Zealand & etc on a DELL platform, what market is it for?  It takes the signal and generates the numbers over the top on animations.  Jackpots are much the same.

Yes, I guess.

So, now, Bally (France) as sent to me the program with no HASP Lock. It's work verry well on all con2 and con2i. The amount is read by the program and writing in TXT file.
When the Jackpot is Win, a second TXT file is writting with amount of Jackpot and the number of slot.

For that moment, i have developed my interface cable. Connected on display port (RX, TX and GND), with MAX232 (converting TTL Signal => RS232) and Port DB9.
I also developed a program that will launch the flash animations based on events (Jackpot, Increment, Movies, etc...). But i still need the Bally Program, I still can not decode the protocol Mikohn.

See you next Wink

Dear kemelos,

I have the program too but i want source code.
The developer has disappeared from the face of the earth (but is not dead!) Bally does not know where it is ! Smiley

Now, for your specific problem, i think the best solution is to use VBA function like "replace" etc.. except if you have a source code from JKT !

Can you tell me more ? I can look for you the VBA code Smiley

Bye

Hi Tok-Ra,

I don't have the source code of JKT and bally say the same think for me

I can't attach you the powerpoint with VBA source code, if you give me your mail i send you

For me all is working, but the JKT send to powerpoint the décimal et a symbol "€" I don't need (Ex : 1 000,00 €)

So finaly i use the code VBA on Excel and i convert the numbers

Sorry i don't speak very well english i'm french to Sénégal Dakar (Casino Terrou-Bi)

Hi all,

I am using coolsignPC to display casinolnk MJP, but I can not find the content creator software(CD offline image) I ask for IGT but they don't support its any more.
The local company has developed software for me (using portal and capture message 26) to display JP values.
I am still waiting them to finish final video when JP hit (message 27)
Let you know soon.

If you have any software for share!
Regards,

Dear,

Me, i just launched the first version of my program.

He read 2 txt files generated by another little program and he send the value of current jackpot at flash animation.
When Jackpot is win, my program stop playing the current animation and play the Jackpot Animation with amount win, number of machine, new amount. When the slot is reset my program stop the Jackpot animation and replay the standart animation.

So it work pretty well but i have not success to create a program that decrypts that the Mikohn send on Diplay Port but i use the Bally France program and it work !

See you...

Does anyone have a breakdown of the serial feed on the Mikohn DCU?  I connect into J7 (which is where the PSP goes).

Thanks
