Hey Guys,

Got this unit that programs fine from PSP and works well.. Was having an issue.. When I powered off machine for more then a day it would reboot back to $0.00 on Display and flash C10.. So i testes the battery and it was low.. I ordered a new one and replaced. Then reprogrammed and everything works fine. If i power off machine longer then 8 hours and power it back up.. Its back to $0.00... But if I power it off for an hour and back on.. it works fine..

I checked all settings and the only menu setting that is difference form my other progressives is ..   "RAM C" or "FLASH" I don't know if this setting has anything to do with my problem.. The battery is still testing good.,.

Any help would be great..

Thanks

Steve

You testes your batteries? Does it hurt more or less depending on the strengh of the battery? Lol, sorry, couldn't resist. All I could picture was how we used to test 9v batteries with our tongues. Anyway, on the battery you bought, was it dated? Maybe it's old. I assume it's not rechargeable. Don't know much about the mikohn displays but you might be on to something with that flash/ram setting too

Is the new battery in there correctly (polarity)?  Is the voltage on the new battery good?  Test it on the legs that are connected to the Mikohn to make sure the solder job is good and that the Mikohn device is indeed getting power from the battery.

Well...
I did check the battery again and its 1.6, although it is a little low, I removed the progressive unit from another machine that is working fine and the the battery measured 1.3 on that board. So I swapped them... And the machine that was having that was having the issues if fine.. So it must be something on the board. I have another new battery I will try.. and see what happens.

I will keep you posted..

Thanks

Steve
