I am having a problem with my Mucho Dinero S2000 using TITO. When I first approached the machine an error popped up saying something along the lines of "An extra coin has been dispensed" (I forget what it exactly said but something like that). All of my setting are set for coinless mode so it did not make sense. I tried a soft ram clear on it to try and clear the error. I turned it back on and ended in a "Coin In Jam". I then tried to Key it. When it came back up all my buttons were disabled and I was unable to look through the options. It will not let me look through the options with the Coin In Jam error. I tried to replace the board but that did not help along with trying to replace the I/O cards and disconnecting the printer. After that I got an error saying "Meter Disconnected". Ultimately it is stuck in a Coin In Jam now and I am unable to clear it. Any help I would appreciate it.

Does your game have the bypass plug on the coin comparitor harness used on games without coin handling. If so, is it plugged tight?

It is. I just went back and turned the machine back on. It is now only saying Meter Disconnected. It allows me to get to the options menu but will not let me use the buttons to guide my way through (buttons were not lit up). Then I close the door and the navigation buttons were all lit up like they usually are in the options menu.

Pull and reseat both your IO boards on in the door and the other next to the mpu board . *****NOTE**** POWER OFF BEFORE DOING THIS

I just tried reseating both of them but the error came back up Meter Disconnected. I thought it may have been the IO boards in the first place so I tried switching out the old ones with known good ones but it has not helped yet. Any more suggestions I would appreciate it.

Go to Search at the top of page and type in meter disconnected and see how others had fixed this problem . P.B.

Do you have clear and key chips for the machine? It's been known to work on persistent phantom errors where there may not be anything actually wrong with the machine. Also, you might try opening and closing the main door several times as errors, even of the same type, can stack and only clear one at a time as you open, close and fully latch the door. And, as PB stated, NEVER remove boards with the machine turned on
