I am having a problem with one the reels on my 5 reel machine. I keep getting a tilt on reel #4, It's like the reel locks, and won't move.
I put in another set of reels and no problem, they all work. switch back, same problem.
So I am thinking that I probably have a bad stepper motor on my #4 reel.  Scratch Head
My question is,  does it really matter which reel goes it which slot? (1 thru 5) Or are they numbered specifically for each slot?
Could I just get a new stepper motor and replace it?
Ive never really had any problems with reels before.
Thanks everyone,
Jim.

The only thing that matters on reel order is the reel strips themselves. As far as the physical reel, if you have a good replacement, swap them and swap the reel strip. Or just swap the motor, but I try not to remove reel baskets from motor shafts any more than I have to

That is what I suspected. I will see about locating another stepper motor.
Thanks for the info!
Jim.
