It's been boring not being on NLG with a slot problem so I bought another one today! It's a IGT S plus Coral Reef 3 coin quarter round top in decent shape. It turns on and only the DBV cycles endlessly...I picked it up today,  but just stuffed it in the garage without even trying to troubleshoot yet! I'm going to wait a little while...at least until tonight.
The exciting thing for me is that I haven't opened the door yet to check if the old owner left me MONEY in the cash box! I always dreamed I'll get one of these home and find hundreds of dollars laying there neatly. Of course the honest thing would be to bring the money back...but this machine was being sold by a friend of the owner, who passed away! What should I do??? Just toss the money skyward toward the heavens???  money
More to come. Oh - I paid $150 for it...good price I think.

Ok...it HAS a cash can and...NO CASH IN IT...DAMMIT!!!! All I found was a measly quarter! I also found out one HUGE THING that I SHOULD have noticed and feel kind of dumb that I didn't: the machine pictured on Craigslist was NOT the one I bought! I just looked at it quickly and then drove there and bought the thing. The one pictured actually was an S2000...the seller must not have had a camera (but who doesn't have a camera these days??? WTF?) so she just ripped one off the internet. When I looked closer...DUH...side speakers, lower speaker, 5cent (it's a 25 cent), different denomination for BV, cover plate over where players card was...mine has holes!  Duh!
I don't regret buying this but I will look closer and pay a little more attention next time. First pic is what I got, second pic from Craigslist.

I checked the inside of the machine and found THESE. Anyone know what it is? Scratch Head
I should know by now. I did fire it up anyway and got the infamous error code 12. So, I'll be replacing the battery before I mess with it...glad I have a few laying around.

Looks like about 40...

Tim Actually there are 53 total. The white ones you see in the front of the trailer are S 2000s I never realized until I took this picture that a S 2000 is that much taller than a S+.

Roz  I think all I need is for one of the up coming weeks to have 9 days so I have enough time to get them to Joey.

If you're bringing some to CV Slots, then you'll have to take the Southern California route home and drop the Spin til you Win here!
Okay...STUPID question...can't find my notes and I've done this before...twice. I replaced the battery, powered on, get the 61. Pressed white button to 61-1, closed door, turned reset key...I get 61 again. Do I have to do a clear? I think it's yes...
How come my posts always go way out of whack??? Fun though!!! I missed all this.  rotflmao
I should get some good karma for bringing all this positivity!
