Hey all,

I just upgreaded my S2k Machine from 2-coin Double Diamond, to 5-line 3x4x5x Double Times Pay and installed the 5 Payline Super Stepper Light!

The 5 Payline Super Stepper Light I purchased has LED bulbs, it's the incandescent sockets, but with LED bulbs installed..

Anyway, 1 if the LED bulbs is burnt out, of the other 4 2 are brighter, while 2 are dull..

So I want to change all 5 to new bulbs so they will all be of the same brightness..

They are 14v DC wedge type bulbs.   They don't have any kind of model #'s on them to reference..

Does anyone know what model # they are? Where to get them?

Thanks!

-TheChad

You can use 12v leds with no issues.  If you don't mind suzo/happ mystery charges
http://na.suzohapp.com/all_catalogs/lighting/161-412059

You can also buy any 12 v led from pinball and arcade parts sellers, just make sure that as in your photo, there's ONLY 1 lead on either side of the bulb.  A common mistake on slot application is using the bulbs with both leads on both sides of the bulb, these will cause instant burnt traces and that nasty semiconductor burnt smell, so maker sure you don't do that.

What do you mean suzohapp mystery shipping charges?

I know I've looked at several things from them as they seem to be the only supplier IGT stuff!?   I've thought about ordering LED replacement bulbs for the Fluorescent bulbs..

Thanks,

Suzo happ does not show you during or after checkout what the shipping charges will be until after it gets shipped.  So if you just buy the LED's, then you will probably pay around $15 shipping, so unless you have other things to order, they may not be your best options cost wise.

Okay, well all I can find is 12v, even though the bulb I took out says 14v!?

Anyway, will this work for the button bulbs:

Also maybe for the backlit reel lights?

Thanks,

yes they will work for the button bulbs, but it looks awful in the reels as the light is too focused so you end up with the dual headlight effect.

Most of the slots I get in have the single LED like Part # 161-412059.  they're a littler cheaper too at $2.25 each.

Those are smaller, they are 1-3/4, not 3-1/4.

I was thinking of trying these: http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/subminiature-bulbs/74-led-bulb-3-smd-led-wide-angle-wedge-base/228/

For the 5-line Stepper panel..

...and the final result!!

p.s. You don't see the "hot spot" effect in person, it shows up on the picture for some reason.

Super Bright LED's
http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/subminiature-bulbs/74-led-bulb-3-smd-led-wide-angle-wedge-base/228/

"Cool White"

They are $3.50/ea.  So not cheap, but they'll never have to be replaced and they look 100x better!  I also used the same bulb for the denomination light (For single denomination).

I am currently testing lights for buttons as well as reel backlights!
