Ruden,
For home use, fading shouldn't be much of a problem because
the machine isn't on as long as it is at a 24x7 full-blown casino operation I would think...
So with this in mind, the faster cycle program may be more beneficial for the real casinos?
And the slower, cycled programs for us home guys?

Good morning. wave Here is an update on the flashing dollar decals.

1.  The flash is 300 milliseconds.  I assume that's the fast flash and not the slow flash since the slow flash was a custom program by Ruben.
2.  They weigh about a pound each.  So after I get them and start mailing them out, I will charge for a pound each on the shipping.
3.  She is checking to see if the stickers can be bought separately. (Although as it has been mentioned before, some people have just the stickers for sale). knockout
4.  She asked if we dealt with Lisa last time.  Thought that was interesting.  Since I wasn't part of this last time I told her yes because that's what I was told. yes
5.  She is rechecking (for a third time) to make sure this is all inclusive because I explained that the last time these were bought as a group I understood they cost more. Scratch Head
6.  I estimated 120 units and she is going to get me an estimated shipping cost for that.  Once I get that shipping estimate I will divide it by 120 to get a shipping cost for each unit.  That cost will be added to the purchase price of the unit.  Hopefully I will know today what each unit will cost you, minus shipping to your zip code of course.

That's all I know for now.  I have to call her back in a bit and give her an estimate of how many of each one so they can do inventory and know if they need to make more.  Several members expressed wanting to buy some but didn't give preference to which color scheme they wanted.  Again I will stress that if you don't tell me which color you want, I will assume you want the black/yellow sticker.

I do use PayPal.  Is it true PayPal charges a commission to accept money now?  That blows!!! hissy fit  Does anyone know what that charge is?  I am trying to not Burning Resistor anyone but I also don't want to get Burning Resistor .

Are you bringing these to the BBQ?  Scratch Head  Please PM me if you get them to arrange for any payment or any details...   THANKS!  applause

I don't know how many people plan to attend the nlg BBQ but I had not planned on going to the nlg BBQ as I have prior arrangements.  I do know someone that is going to the BBQ though and maybe he can bring them with him.  I'll ask.  And once we get to the ordering stage I'll send out an PM to let you know what your cost is.

Did I forget anything?? Scratch Head Scratch Head

ashyron-

For $10 (plus shipping, of course) each, please put me down for the following:

5 of the Black Background/White Text (lights up blue)
2 of the Black Background/Yellow Text (lights up green)

Thank you and K+ for all of your leg-work with this.  I'm curious as to why these are now half the price they were before, but if it includes everything it did the first time around, that's awesome.

To recap for anyone just joining the thread, these are the three styles available:

Quote
1 - Black background/yellow text version.  The yellow lights up green when operating
2 - Black background/white text version.  The white lights up blue when operating.
3 - Blue background/white text version.  The white lights up blue when operating.

Ron, I want to increase my order from three to six.
I would like three black/yellow and three black/white.

...I do use PayPal.  Is it true PayPal charges a commission to accept money now?  That blows!!! hissy fit  Does anyone know what that charge is?
...

...I do know someone that is going to the BBQ though and maybe he can bring them with him.  I'll ask.  And once we get to the ordering stage I'll send out an PM to let you know what your cost is.
...

1.  Paypal fees differ slightly depending on the type of account that you have and the method of payment, but the most common fee is 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction.

2.  There are two members going to the BBQ who will be able to bring orders to those who wish to pick up their stickers in person at NLG, so it shouldn't be an issue. It would be best for those wishing to do so to coordinate payment in advance with Ron, and to let him know as soon as possible so that Ron will have time to get the the right number of each color of sticker needed to Buzz or me before we leave.

3.  Ron, if you have a chance, would you ask Alma if the chip that drives the display (controls the flash pattern and speed) is soldered into the board or is socketed?

4.  Ruden, is there a reason that you decided to disable embedding on your YouTube videos? They were working when dpalmi posted them yesterday.

Got 'em listed.

I'll take a black and yellow lit green or lit blue (whatever you have).

Got it.

Ron, I want to increase my order from three to six. I would like three black/yellow and three black/white.

Got it changed.

Ron, if you have a chance, would you ask Alma if the chip that drives the display (controls the flash pattern and speed) is soldered into the board or is socketed?

I will see what I can do to get that information.  I have a migraine right now but after I get back up I will be calling her with some information and will ask her this question.

MagicSlots - Sorry I can't find your post but I got your order changed.

You can double click as well if you're intention is to watch the video in a new tab directly on YouTube. Most embedded YT videos can be watched directly in the post by single clicking -- unless the owner of the video disables embedded viewing, as JG has done here.

Not to hijack this thread or veer it off course, I know ashyron is busy tallying up who wants decals, but how in the hell do you get the old door decal off? It looks like these things have glue on them made to stick forever. Also, can the old decal be used again after it's off, IF it comes off in one piece!!

Use a hair dryer to warm up the adhesive.  It peels off easier that way.  Use goof off to remove the residue left on the machine.  Forget about reusing it.

I get the adhesive off behind the sticker with some type of
glue dis-solver like "Speedy Peel" made by Royal chemicals and
(Comes in big orange can) use a small block of wood to push off the adhesive
when it's softened up. yes
