What is the best way to take out the bill acceptor housing?  There are 2 nuts between the bill acceptor housing and the right side of the slot machine. There is only about one-half of an inch spacing between the slot machine housing and the bill acceptor housing and the nuts are also about 6 inches to the back, Very tight fit.  All of the other nuts and screws are easy to reach but these last 2 are tough.  OK all of you slot experts, what is the best way to remove these 2 nuts and then replace them?

Thanks in advance

A long extension and go through the hole from outside the cash box.

The holes are blocked by metal riveted inside the bill vallidator housing.  There is no straight way to get to the nuts using an extension.  The only way I can see is with a long combination wrench, this would be very difficult!

You need to remove the guts of the cash box first by taking off the 2 small Phillips screws from the front...
Open the cash box door, look all the way into the back wall through two holes.
You will see that there's a phillips screwhead head in each hole there.

you need to remove the inner chassis usually held in by 2 phillips screws in the back of the chassis, pull out the cash can and you will see them and 1 or 2 screws on the left side remove the inner chassis and use a extension and you gan get to all 5 nuts 2 on the bottom and 3 running up the back side
good luck
