To be honest....
I have not only met some VERY nice people on Craigslist, but continued to be friends long after the transaction!
The four I-Games I just recently bought....CRAIGSLIST...and will do a lot more business with him...

Well in the news up here in NYC area a guy wanted to sell his Blackberry and put it on CL, then when he showed up, they hit him, took it out of his hand, then sped off. Another group said they were selling a Lexus, when the guy showed up to test drive it, he got mugged. In both cases the perps got caught but these might me isolated cases. I did not mean to imply that all CL transactions were risky, just a few. I am sure that if someone were selling a slot machine on CL it would be OK but I would deal locally (that is one of the safety suggestions made by CL) so you lower the risk.

There was a spree of these types of occurrences here that were traced back to a local college football player. He eventually got caught.

Well shoot.  I had a big post written up and went to post it with a zip file and since the zip file I had was too large, I lost the post.  Anyway, here are TWO zip files now to show the stuff that was in Victorville.

There was mention of someone selling glass, reel strips and slot machines in this thread (http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=4287.0) so I thought I would check it out.    I'm not going to write anymore about it unless someone wants information.  That was a lot of info to loose.  Pictures are worth more than I am willing to try to rewrite.

This stuff is not $2400 bucks as posted on CraigsList.
I believe there are 9 Universal machines and one Bally.
Some slot glass is good and some has big chips out of it.
I wouldn't mind the reel strips though.

Zip files aren't working to upload so here are a couple pictures.

Those are Uni round tops.
The handles tell me they are mid 1990's machines.
Some of the last of the old style that they made.
Don't see any Ultra Series though.
Thanks for the pics! Did you remember any of the game themes?

Nite Times, Magnum 7's, those are the only two I can see in the pictures.  All of the machines for $200 bucks.  The only way I knew they were Universal machines is they say it on the front and on the side.  Looks like some machines don't have belly glass in them and some don't have reels but looks like one of the machines has reels in it.  They were all facing away so I couldn't really get a look at anything.  And it looks like only two have top glass in them.  I couldn't get into any of them to really get a look at them so I don't even know if they have the boards and games in them or not.  Only other thing to do would be to go back out there and turn the machines around to look inside.  Lemme check to see which pics i posted and I can post a few more, now that I am out of bed again.

I think that in those slot friendly states , slot machines are like blenders. There are so many of them that the prices are depressed
Evn in RI I have not seen a slot store or alot for sale out of there.

Apparently it has an "Bonus 777" animation running in the display,
the correct belly glass and the "Attract" mode is working...hmm...
