All surface mounted memory.  I have a couple of boards labeled 2 X 3 but I believe they can be used with larger displays.  The size of the memory only limits how much you can load in.  Animations take up the most memory.  I found out that these Supremes can be loaded up with still graphics too which do not take up as much of the memory.

You would think that the larger the display the more aggregate memory it would have and the more complex annimations you could develop.

Do the annimations auto-scale with the size of the display.....

This stuff just blows the Con1 toys that I have out of the water......

I think you have to get into the options settings and
change the "suffix" symbol to whatever you need.
I know it's easily changeable with Mikohn units via a couple of configuration buttons -
I'm not so sure of Spectrums.

thanks for the quick replay, please which option settings should i go? key chip or other settings... because i changed the symbol that is written on the VFD display, but on the spectrum display is same dollar ($) sign.
i need to change to euro or none.

I really am not sure.
Is there configuration buttons on the back of the display panel?
If so, use those to change the prefix symbol.
If not, then I would say that it's in the options somewhere.
Spectrum's are pretty much Netplex driven boards.
You'd need a set up manual for that...
I don't have one here at the moment.
Maybe someone that has some Spectrum documentation on hand will chime in here.

no buttons on back, only some dip switch that i think are for movement and test. For what i know this is on netplex protocol , that means that all informations are taken from the machine.. For s2000 i know only about key 17 and key 21 for setup, might there be another keychip for setting spectrum display? If not then i am out of luck )

I have never seen a manual for these - anybody got one??  I agree - I don't think the dip switches on the back will change this.  There are no settings that I know of to modify what's displayed or how it's displayed...just starting value, maximum value, current value and how much increment %.

I do believe symbol shown depends on which Version Chip you have in the MPU.
if you have a US version chip you get the $, International Version should allow you change symbols to match that country.
I am not sure on this but it is logical.

My guess would also be with the chip on the back. The dips on the back can put it in a test mode and change the solid color from the green to orange

What is your game chip?, base? and version?

Thanks to all for the support, I have international version chip (so i can change the currency displayed on the VFD, the US version had only dollar sign) so it is not from that version chip. during this day i will open none machine and see what base, game and version chip. and i will also open the topper to see if is there any thing else to do there.
