Hello everyone, I'm having a problem with my Triple Bonus Frenzy machine.
When I turn it on, You hear the guys voice " Copyright bally gaming inc all rights reserved" , Then all  the button lights
start flashing, and thats all it will do, And it shows the numbers 8178 in the win paid window.
So I press the reset button, and the number goes to 8179. I press it again and then it goes to 817a, Press it again 817b, press it again 817d,
press it again 817e. I press the reset button one more time, The display goes back to normal, the reels spin up, Shut the door and then it plays normal.

Just curious if anyone could tell me what would be causing this?

Thanks everyone!  Jim....

The only thing that I could think of is that you are stuck in the "menus" on startup. See if the battery on the mpu is low and replace it, then see if the board is seated properly. If you have the knowledge, do a full clear also. And also check that the reset switch (white button) is not stuck in the closed position.

First thing to do is check voltage on battery. It's on MPU. Make sure you turn off before removing.
