I put 2 in machines. One put's $10 when push button, the other puts on $250 which doesn't bother me.

It is based on the denom.  The button adds 1000 credits at whatever the accounting denom is.

I am trying to get the settings worked out on the Bally 6000.  If you get it confirmed working, please let me know the settings so I can confirm with the cable I am testing to release that option for everyone as well

I shut the dip switches off on my BV's and now it only reads the tickets but rejects all the Bills.

Now my machines don't take any cash at all. I just leave a bunch of tickets out and everyone play's off of them

and if somebody tries to stick REAL Money in the machine it just spits it back out.  applause

Captain Hook

Great Idea!

Thanks Dan#2 & Capt. Hook. YOU GUYS WERE CORRECT. I turned all switches off. That is why it didn't work for me. I turned all off except the first & last switch. Now it works perfect.

A $10.00 donation has been made to NLG for bhinkley. thanks for helping me with my issue to get me up and running!

Thank you.  It's my pleasure to help you through the issue to get you up and running fully.

One question for everyone as I am testing that I want to clarify as I may have discovered something last night working on testing some boards.  When you are setting up your boards that you have gotten, do you connect the power plug first, or the comm board plug first to the machine?  I don't know if it was just a fluke last night, but the one board I was working with when I plugged in the power plug first and then the comm board plug it seems that the PIC processor lost the programming, but it may just not have written correctly when I programmed it.  Just wanting to confirm so I can update install instructions if I need to.

I know that on SAS programs to get all setting you have to use 2004 or newer. Without SAS programs you have to use 2003 to print.
Being you are using all settings I would say you are using 2004 or newer.

Mine are leave in mains also, and I can't change setting 78hi.  I will have to try to track down some leave ins that work with SAS.
