My latest find on Craiglist....

THREE..not one, not two, but 3 VLC touchscreen video slots. one is a "Gopher money" and two of them are "Winning Touch" in working condition.
They are set up to take bills only, no coins. DBA's work fine.
I paid $900 for all three including the stands (which need some work).

Kirk, hope you got them for a good deal. Don't know too much about the VLC's but check the past posts in the Archive site. The problem is the clear/set chips are impossible to obtain if there is a problem with the machine. Depending on the chip needed, I believe there are some members that will clear the board for you if you send the MPU to them.

thanks for the info Dan. The main battery is indeed low, so i am shunting it with a seperate 3 volt holder then i will cut the old battery loose so as to not lose anything in RAM.
All 3 machines are up, with the exception of the LOW BAT warning on one of them. It boots for a minute or two then alarms.

Yes, the Gopher Cash has a few differant "Bounus" rounds but one game.
The winning touch has quite a few, mostly differant types of Poker but has flaming 7's, Great White,Ring those bells,two differant kinds of Keno.
One of them has a blackjack program, while the other has another version of Bonus Poker.
I fixed the sound on the Gopher...used my induction probe and found audio on the speaker wires, ohm'ed out the speaker..it was burned open.
Installed another speaker...sounds as good as new.
The gentleman i got them from is going to see if he can get a hopper and coinhead for them from "Connections" and I can convert them back to coin in/coin out from the paper in and cash out they are now.
one monitor is off to the right about 3/4 inch so it screws up the calibration of the touch screen, an easy fix once I get it out of the cabinet.
For a replacement battery I had a bunch of "123" lithium cells for flashlights. They are 3.0 volts at some crazy amphour rating with a shelf life of over 5 years. I soldered pigtails to it and bridged the battery already there, then carefully cut it off the board...worked fine and machine is happy..no more low bat alarms.

Indeed. I work retail and it is sometimes quite amazing what some people will do. Sadly, there are plenty of stories
where people actually get away with it. To me, the biggest issue is shoplifting. You bust the same people over and
over. The problem is the law is not tough enough. People just get a misdemeanor fine and they're back on the

The Frog Wild game is by CDS.  They also made "Easy Street" and a bingo game that would go in that cabinet.  $600 for it with no bill validator?  To me, that's iffy, but I really don't know a lot about CDS machines, either.

No way I'd pay $1300 for it, but I loved playing this game at the few places in Vegas I spotted it on my first trip there.  Haven't seen it since.  "Reel Deal Poker" by CDS.  Lousy paytable, but a bonus feature where any three-of-a-kind or better would spin an on-screen "slot machine" which could multiply your win.

That is a Type "D" Wide Body. Universal made two versions of the "lowboy" or "choptop" slot.
Full size wide body slots (with topbox) had two pay glass sizes, 8-1/8" and 12-3/4".
The 8-1/8" topbox payglass fits the bellyglass area too.

I believe that game is Reels of Fortune.

Yes, I agree - that is a Reels of Fortune.  I used to own one but sold it.  Here is a pic of the full machine with a top.

It's not a "steal" but it's OK. Most of them are 16" tops from what I have seen :)
All of my 40S5's are 16" except the Piggy, it's a 9" flat top....

I would consider that very reasonable for that game and many were Round Tops, but the later Canadian Games were mostly 16 and 9" (like 1999 & 2000)

I have 3 of these if anyone is interested in buying one.  These are the newer 9-Line models and has a built-in Progressive meter in the custom top box above the "wheel of fortune" spinner.  They also have the mini touch screens above the bill validator where you could add your own fun pictures to the flash card.  Look like brand new.  Selling for $350 each...let me know if your interested....

Amazing how this game is nothing more than a 25-liner cherry master type of game with two LCD screens and a fancy 3 foot high top box. I have nicer 25-liner games from Japan that I put together for less than 300 bucks.
Okay, I know,  throw in a Tito and a decent bill acceptor will run it much higher, but the basic game? - not much to it really...

I never liked WOF.  I must be some sort of freak.   They are always taken at the casino.   Now Deal or no Deal ......      (drooling) 

I would like to find an Elvis machine, hopefully parts complete.  This is my wife's favorite machine. She also likes WOF of course. :103-

Stout,  Depends on which variation of the wof, they have a lot of them. Some are regular processors and some cd driven as well.  All wap and server based no matter which game/type/theme for the most part.  I have heard of talk about stand -alone software -mostly high denom. (up to 100.00).  Again just talk.  Have a good weekend-B.

The original reel WOFs came out long before server-based slots, so that could be ruled out.  Since they existed on the S2000 platform, I can't imagine that they require a CD, either.  There's nothing terribly complicated about them when compared to another slot other than the wheel bonus on the top of the machine.

Again depends on which theme/game/model.  Some require a cd.  The complication to 99.9 % of folks is making them work - The guts to most of them are not complicated but you will need to understand those guts and know all the other guts/gizmo's to have a shot at this one. I can't speak for all sellers but I would say a good 80% of the S+ chips you see on Ebay are copies.
The ones that say orginal usually have an IGT sticker.

Now the interesting thing about the S+ platform is that IGT gave  many of the casinos the right to copy their own chips.
You can see that they would find this easier to allow the casino to update the game chip on their own schedule, and the casino may have had multiple reel chips with different percentages.
So from a purely technical basis (other than the sticker) there is no way of telling if the chip is licenesed or a copy.

My thoughts on the matter was that if I owned IGT Orignal Glass and strips I was pretty much entitled to the software.

10,900 for a 5yr old Limo isn't bad. I doubt they had too many hard miles on them and proabably kept clean.

Welcome to NLG from a fellow Minnesotan.  :)

It's an IGT S+ with a 16" top -- it looks like the light bulb in the top box is not lit -- it likely just needs a new bulb.

They're solid games, and you can purchase kits to change out the theme (ie. you can replace the "Strike!" glass and reel strips with something like Double Diamond or Red White and Blue, etc. -- in fact any slot game you find in the IGT S+ bible (click here, then the 2CM or 3CM links to see examples) (http://newlifegames.net/igtbible/IGT%203CM/Game%20Library%20-%20S-Plus.htm) can be used in there).

They're solid machines -- my first slot was an S+ and I still have it.  $600 including the stand is a "fair" price -- it's not a steal, but it's not an awful price, either.  They're heavy -- you'll need a pick-up truck, cargo van, or empty SUV to haul it, and at least one other person to help you lift it.

If you ever have questions about its operation, there are dozens of people here on the NLG website who can help you with it.  They don't break down often at all, and they have very few parts so if it does break, it's generally an easy fix.  In addition, parts are currently very easy to come by, so it's not too expensive to get replacement parts.

My bad I found this machine on the 2CM and just missed it on the 3CM, Looked again and low and behold there it was, Looks like a good game for a basic type 0, I think I will pass on it for now and just watch his price to see if it goes down. I do have 3 machines right now just lookin as they seem to multiply as every one around here says.  :3- :3-

It's quite possible that the price may drop -- I've seen that machine on there for at least a month -- not sure if that was the original price or not.

They sure are... and I can't figure for the life of me why... I need more more more!   At first I had room for 2.  Somehow now I'm planning on 5.

Right now My collection includes 2 S+'s and 1 Williams 400 :3- :3-, The game kits that I have are 5 times pay, Leap frog, Double Diamond, And Mag 7, And on the Williams machine Leapen Lizards. I also have a non working Universal machine that I don't count as I'm trying to part it out.

Kirk, I have to say that I'm jealous. Your luck and choices in the machines have all been top notch. Those leds are nice, but I like the shape those reel strips are in. I couldn't see any fading. I'm hoping that if you can't find an original award glass that with the monitor taking up so much space that a repro won't be too noticible.

Kidding, wish I was there.

My biggest problem is i have so much fun getting them back together, i want to keep each one of them. The only exception are the Sigma's (150B and 300B). While they are cool looking...they tend to be boring.
The Mata-hari was missing the 64Meg card so I needed the ATA10065 files and the BGM 00169 files too.The 20 meg card is toast. I got it running using a 64Meg Kodak flash card for a digital camera and a PCMCIA to Flash adaptor. The machine seems to like them and I can get 64meg flashcards at WAL*MART. The Flash to PCMCIA adaptors can be had on E-bay for ONE DOLLAR HAHAHAHA....cheap!

Well I think its great because you found out something at least I didn't know about the adapter for the pcmcia, Jeff & Jim did ya catch that? Cause finding a compatable pcmcia flash card is expensive. The MMLBII is also a good find and can be used in almost any Vision ready or S2000 the 42 Simm is generic. As long as you have the room, cash and dispensation from the "Other Half" keep going, you can always sell off those which loose their appeal later.

Yes it can, you just need to buy a topbox, the proper harnesses, and of course the right set of eproms, reel strips and Glass.

Yeah, but I remember when I started out, $550-650 for an S+ 3-4 years ago was a deal. Drove all the way north of Detroit to buy 3 S+ machines from KFBob (Nice guy). I didn't even hook up with NLG until after I got my first 2 Gamemakers. Members who get on here first before buying are definitely ahead of the curve on slot purchasing because of this forum. Someone that just cruises Ebay and Craigslist probably doesn't know any better.

I think that we dropped quite a bit in Google standings when the old site died. Joey would have to confirm this.

I have talked to several Universal owners who said they paid $1000 or more for their machines that were purchased 10 years ago! Stepper slot machines must have been far and few between I guess.
I really think eBay and the internet saturated the market. Not to mention the amount of S+'s that left the casinos.

Well, the Top Gear and Trick or Treat are Mk 2.5 machines and that IGT I think is a PE but with the slot software, am I right about that? I've seen those MK2.5's go for $400-600 each. I don't have a clue about the IGT since I can't confirm the model.

The RWB slot is a PE or PE+ video slot -- it doesn't look like it has the embedded bill validator.  That PE+ that I posted about the other day for $200 could run that software, plus would have all the buttons for poker.

I'd say that $2K is a little high for that group.  $750 for a single machine is way too high.

yes 2.5 aristocrats, should go for no more than 300.00 -350.00 , you can change games and they are all eprom base, you can tell if its a 2.5
when you open the machine it will have 2 boards, they could be mark 4 that will have a single board in tray, they also are eprom base games

I agree with Stout. The worst that he could do would be to ignore or flame you. If the seller is truly in the dark as to the value of his slots and doesn't respond, then you've lost nothing. On the other hand, if he snubs your offer, he will either end up not selling them or will have to wait for the right sucker to come along in this bad economy.

Not only that but keep the communications pleasant. Even though he MAY turn you down, if he gets no takers he may respond back for your offer. Depending on what he paid versus his monetary need to sell, who knows?

YES! I agree. My tip off was that the size of the red knob on the handle was way too large for the rest of the machine and the position of the fulcrum of the handle was wrong as well. I didn't Google and find the toy as you did.

BUT, take a close look at his picture! It looks like an S slot. You can see the small rectangular buttons on what looks like an S slot bet deck (the coin slot is also positioned as it would be on a real slot and is not in the same place as it is in the picture of the toy). You can also see credit meters on the right side of the reels that look like an S or early S+ and the meters appear to take up much more room than the decal on the toy in relation to the width of the reels. The reel glass looks real (no pun intended) and there seems to be the standard "Machine pays 1000 coins ..." sticker on there as well. In addition, it looks like it has a top that is much larger than the original toy.

This guy was also very careful not to put anything else in the picture to give the viewer a sense of scale. The cards on the wall in the background could be large postcards or baseball cards -- it's impossible to really tell.

SO, what is this guy's game? Is the photo a complete fake?

It's an odd game where every combination that you see on the award glass is an "any position" pay except the top award. The sad thing was that the PC game version that I played years ago hardly ever hit anything despite the liberal "any position" theme. I've never played nor seen an original machine; perhaps they pay better than the PC knockoff.

I once started negotiations for a floor full of furniture by telling the company that I would take it away for $50 an office. This is them paying me to take it away. We landed on me paying them $60 per office and i got all the white boards and chairs. I'm guessing they're saying it's a nickel slot machine that stopped working.  There is a problem with the CD-ROM that it either isn't reading the CD, or isn't talking to the processor.  The dollar bill validator works (I'm assuming that they're hearing it power cycle, as if the game isn't working then there'd be no way to know for sure, although since they said that the game "stopped working" I presume the validator was previously working).  ...and finally, the machine is fixable, but not by the person placing the ad.

You may want to contact NLG member "KirkLasVegas" -- if I recall correctly he has (had?) one of those machines in his gameroom -- he may have some insight as to what needs fixing and whether it's worth it.

racergiant, also check with cfh, he has been doing alot of work with Sigma UV-1700 video machines. I'm sure he could let you know what would be involved for that fix.

If the cd drive went bad - will a brand new IDE cd-rom drive work or does it need to be an older generation cd-rom drive?

Regular "Run of the Mill" IDE CD-ROM drive will do fine.make sure to set the "Master/Slave" jumper to the same settings as the original.
The games use the CD *AND* a personality PROM. To change the game, you clear the  RAM (Clear Chip), install the game chip and insert the new CD.
Machine will reboot (takes a while), machine setup screen will appear....

I wonder how I can make it suddenly "appear" next to my S+  .  .  I know my wife won't be very happy - even at $185.

So what's with his latest BS? The header states "CASINO SLOT MACHINE GLASS - $1", but the copy states "$1.75 EACH IN ONE LOT" -- that's quite a difference when selling 5000 pcs, not that he's going to get any offers. Maybe it would be worth the $4.50 each to cherry pick a few pieces.

Small world it is. I was just reading through some of the topics and saw this  one. I actually have gone there and got a couple of pieces of glass from him. He does have alot of glass for slots and video gaming. Didnt really check out the toppers due to not into them but from the ones I saw near me they are pretty cool. He had at the time I visited small toppers to one very large topper. I am guessing but I think some were theme related, others just neat. The glass is in very good shape and from what I looked through he has glass from older machines like the old IGT 1985 video poker (didnt see any alot older than around that time frame but not that he might have some elsewhere) I saw glass pieces from just about all the mfg of gaming machines.  Some glass was still wrapped in protective covers. I  saw glass that would fit machines I have never seen in casinos or arcades. It was truly a different experience to see so much glass on shelves and not in machines. Although not while I was there  did I see many pairs together in same slots,  but I did run across belly glass and awhile later the upper box award glass. I do not recall any particular pieces that had versions  for all the styles of slots out there. Meaning if there was a oval upper award glass it wasnt readily apparant if there was also one for a flat top or slant top. It looked like he had recently located the glass where I saw it and still had a lot of  sorting to do but that was a couple of days ago. If anyone is thinking of going down there have a list with exact measurements, whether 2coin or 3 coin, belly glass name,  upper glass awards to match your reels. I found alot of themes very similar to the ones I was looking for and had to look over carefully, But maybe you all have a better  focus than I, I kept getting distracted by glass  that caught my eye like theme glass for adams family, and other similar popular themes. I was there about 3 hours and he let me look about as much as I  liked. I only purchase a couple of pieces but felt I got them for alot less them what I have seen others selling them for. Not sure how much for the bigger theme glass items which he told  me were more. Didnt think to ask cuz I only bought slot replacement glass for some bally slots. It was worth my time. If a group is interested in various pieces I wouldnt all rush over there at same time due to the place can get crowded real quick if more than two or three are going through the glass bins. I am not sure  if I read this or not  on this site but did someone say this guy was on craigs list getting rid of unwanted glass or was that in reference to another ad? cuz this guy while I was there was offering it for sale until it is gone.  Well I  hope some of what I wrote was worth the time to others  if looking for glass due to I find words I write do not always flow with an organized train of thought and kinda jump back and  forth on topics. well that didnt take long. I never got past the phone call due to our conversation consisted of me asking if he had a list by chance. no he didnt (well wasnt that a big surprise) so I ask him about the names of what I was interested in and only one he recalled as a maybe was he thought he remembered seeing something saying that name (ok so that narrows it down to several hundred possibilities. lol) then he followed that up with telling me he really didnt think he wanted or if I even would be able to look through it due to how it was packed. in boxes, stacks, etc. and what he said he wants to get. is to find someone to buy all of it as is in one lump sum. Not that I know a lot of people who have large lots of glass (except for recently i guess i did know of two) but isnt that what all of them end up doing anyhow? I passed the word on to our local casino glass place here in vegas and told him this was more up his alley of interest at this time. But should he work out a deal and I do not see why not the last guy decided i guess he had had enough fun and sold what he could( and I believe Frank got the big chunkl of pieces) then I or you guys if you know him can find out from him what he bought and if any of your interests were found within it somewhere. Well now cuz of that little short phone call I now have an extra two hours to procrastinate so off to where I do it best, in front of one of my slots exercising my finger pushing skills. all humor aside. is this bar top machine worth taking a look at or not? i saw 100 to about 1000.00 for what they go for. lets say a complete working, your neighbor has had for a year or so and now he is getting divorced like everyone else and has to sell it. its not shopped out but just works, all of it comparator, bill val. has a few lites out. how much should it sell for. if its around 8 or 900.00 I might have the urge to go look at it, but if only 400 or 500 i think i will finish my bag of chips and mountain dew and scratch my ass when the need arises.

The reason why I posted the bartop GameMaker is because it was such a steal at $250.  I hope a  :nlg- member grabs it.  ...although from the picture, it looks like the touchscreen controller may not be working (based on the on-screen graphics).  Still, worth it at that price and the touchscreen can likely be fixed if it is indeed not working.

As far as the "adult slot machine" -- I'm guessing that it's a poorly worded ad saying that it's not a kid's toy, but rather a real full size slot.  ...unless they think a Pachi is a "real" slot.

at $250 it's a steal for sure.  I agree, adult meant not a toy.

Well, it looks like that bartop GameMaker in Las Vegas that was $250 a few days ago is now $295?  I wonder if it's a different seller (ie. someone bought the thing and then decided he didn't want it)?

The last time I posted (when it was $250) I noted that it appeared the touch screen wasn't working based on the graphics on the screen.  The pictures in this listing make it more obvious -- there's glass over the screen (like a PE+ bartop) so there's no way to touch the screen.  All interaction is done via the buttons.

it may be but i thought i remembered a another guy about a month ago i contacted who wanted to get rid of a lot but wanted to retire off what he was asking for it. and he didnt want you to go there and open up boxes and look at it. guy was kind of twighlitzone feeling he gave me. easily upset it seemed  if it didnt go as planned. i remember now he listed on craigs list for individual pieces but when you called he said he didnt want to sell little pieces but buy the whole lot without opening up anything. between the two or three lots out there it probably is one of them. and it keeps getting cheaper.

Wow, I missed that one! The listing is expired so presumably it sold. Just as well - I would have been unable to resist buying it and I can't really spare $1200 at the moment.

I've seen a picture of this machine, but I never came across one in real life. It's a 1968 Raven 3-line, a development of the electromechanical flasher machines made by Keeney, Games and Bally in the first half of the 1960s. It's prior to the invention of the microprocessor, so it was made entirely with small logic chips, most likely the same 930 series RTL chips used in the Dale Pokermatic (they had the same father). About 800 of these were made between 1968 and 1970 but they were so expensive to make that they couldn't be sold at a profit. It wasn't the first of its type - Nevada Air Products designed one two years earlier, but only a handful were made and it never went into production. If one of those were to show up on the market I might have to send Operatrix Bell out to work.

Raven Electronics was sold out in 1971 to Si Redd's Bally Distribution Co, which later became IGT.

<edit> Interesting note about that machine - the start switch is not a push button, it's a touch pad (like a touch screen without the screen). That was very advanced technology in 1968. On the other hand, it had a tube and slide payout instead of a hopper, which was quite retro in 1968, as well as damn noisy.

Well in the news up here in NYC area a guy wanted to sell his Blackberry and put it on CL, then when he showed up, they hit him, took it out of his hand, then sped off. Another group said they were selling a Lexus, when the guy showed up to test drive it, he got mugged. In both cases the perps got caught but these might me isolated cases. I did not mean to imply that all CL transactions were risky, just a few. I am sure that if someone were selling a slot machine on CL it would be OK but I would deal locally (that is one of the safety suggestions made by CL) so you lower the risk.

There was a spree of these types of occurrences here that were traced back to a local college football player. He eventually got caught.

Well shoot.  I had a big post written up and went to post it with a zip file and since the zip file I had was too large, I lost the post.  Anyway, here are TWO zip files now to show the stuff that was in Victorville.

This stuff is not $2400 bucks as posted on CraigsList. 
I believe there are 9 Universal machines and one Bally. 
Some slot glass is good and some has big chips out of it.
I wouldn't mind the reel strips though.

Nite Times, Magnum 7's, those are the only two I can see in the pictures.  All of the machines for $200 bucks.  The only way I knew they were Universal machines is they say it on the front and on the side.  Looks like some machines don't have belly glass in them and some don't have reels but looks like one of the machines has reels in it.  They were all facing away so I couldn't really get a look at anything.  And it looks like only two have top glass in them.  I couldn't get into any of them to really get a look at them so I don't even know if they have the boards and games in them or not.  Only other thing to do would be to go back out there and turn the machines around to look inside.  Lemme check to see which pics i posted and I can post a few more, now that I am out of bed again.

i am in vegas and we contacted  this ad. the guy sounds like an older guy (sorta grumpy sounding) and they dont want to sell to just anybody. you have to have a DOJ LICENSE.  not letter. if i am not mistaken here in vegas that makes you a broker to have one of those. costs last i heard around 400k. (government wouldnt take my personal check for the amount. lol) but anyhow number you call sometimes is returned with incorrect number  by operator and other times it rings. name is capado something. i recall that name a few years ago. possibly something to do with legal issues. evidently has 2 warehouses of machines and  parts.  but like i said he is only interested in selling to a DOJ license holder. still looking into it more.

Holy cow! it says its 750 lbs. (typo ?)  i cant see it being that hevy. Maybe 350-400 lbs. Then again i never had to move one so i dunno.

My last slant was 374 pds but it was a reel.. maybe more for video? Although I'm not seeing an additional 300 pounds

The load could be lightened by removing the monitor, the hopper, the coin-in parts, and the belly door.  It'd still be heavy, though.

The machine for sale is an Atronic. I don't know how many of these are in the USA, they're not sold commercially here. I know of one, looking exactly like this one, that was awarded as a prize for something or other, some years back. It's been resold at least once before, if it's the same one. The flip cards are a German design - Bally Wulff originally, later owned by Gauselmann, which is associated with Atronics, though I'm not sure if G owns A or vice versa. Anyway, I have a flyer - this German Stella (below) looks awfully similar.

The other flip card machine you've seen, with the small monochrome monitor in it, was made by Games of Nevada in about 1985. These are quite rare. Only about 100 were made and most of them were broken up. Here's a cutting (slightly water damaged) of Mickey Wichinsky standing next to one at the exhibition where it was launched.

Not surprisingly, this machine was sold within minutes for the posted price, $750. It is probably worth $3-4k at a collector's auction.

For those who don't know what they're looking at, it's a 1930s Jennings Century, all original with original paint, reserve jackpot and a mint vendor front. The small knob, lower right, dispensed a roll of mints for every nickel if you bothered to turn it. This meant the operator could describe it as a "vending machine". For good measure, the reel strips also made it a "fortune teller". Neither would hold up against a determined prosecutor but they allowed operation in some gray areas.

I'm posting a pic for when the original disappears.

 I spent 4 years in Hawaii in the marines and there are actually three interstate highways on Oahu. 1 around the north side , one around the south and one through the middle of the island.  And yes the packers do pack EVERYTHING. They are regular movers that have contracts with the military to come in make a list of everything and crate it up. You call them when you get to your next duty station and they deliver the crates and even unpack them so you can check everything off the manifest they made previously. I even had my truck shipped when I left. Took a month but it came from Hawaii to Norfolk, Va without a scratch

Thats true now that I think back  I seem to remember a big deal being made over the drinking age in Hawaii. If it was not raised from 18 to 21 then there would be no more federal funding for the roads on Oahu. That was 25 years ago, dont know if the drinking age was ever raised or not.

Incidentally..... I note that the Federal drinking law only forbids under-21s from purchasing or publicly possessing alcohol. Not all states made consumption illegal. In Hawaii, under-21s can still legally drink on private premises.

But, Hawaii did have (and still does have) the right to regulate alcohol in any manner they see fit, in following with the 21st Amendment as any other state does. What can and does happen is that the federal government withholds some of the federal funding for the interstate highway system if the state doesn't agree to follow the federal guidelines.

Cruisepl, failing to follow the federal guidelines for underage drinking would not lead to "no more federal funding for roads on Oahu", the Feds don't have that much power. It would result in a small decrease in the amount they were given for funding interstate highways, I believe the amount is either 5 or 10%.

Funny thing about the Cole verdict, it was a 7-2 verdict by the SC, so it's not like it was a strict party line vote that can be put at the feet of either political party. There were 3 conservatives, 3 liberals, and one moderate who voted for it, as well as Rehnquist, who, though a conservative , was a strong promoter of States' rights to govern without federal interference. As for the disssenting side, it was made up of one liberal and one conservative.

I always thought O'Connor's dissent was fallacious in one point that she stated "It is over-inclusive because it stops teenagers from drinking even when they are not about to drive on interstate highways." That is incorrect, as you stated, Op, because teenagers are not stopped from drinking by federal law, merely purchasing or drinking in public. In states where private consumption and possession is allowed (like California), teens can still drink in private. Any prevention of them drinking in private is due to state law, not federal.

I haven't thought much about the NMDA or SD vs. Cole since college, when I actually debated it. :5- Never thought I'd ever use that knowledge again.

i have sold several of similar machines - common name is Mississippi Gambler - not sure where that name came from - the machine is basically a 4 reel low boy with a large marquis and feature unit box.  I guess is was a poor man (casinos) substitute for a BIG BERTHA.

I recall seeing machines like this on endcaps in high traffic areas back in the '80s. They usually had terrible payback percentages.

Pachislo's have their place, they are not S2000's. People buy them because they don't know any better. And most states do not consider them to be real slots so they say "Pachislo OK" in the state law column. This is how I got started in the hobby. But then I wanted the same slot that I saw in Foxwoods so I bought an S+ at the time (2000). The Pachi that I had was a Red, White, and Blue made by IGT! Now I am going to put a handle on my Juggler V and it will be a Stout Special, a Frankenpachi!

I'd have to look, but I imagine the other number is his cell phone #. He always has one excuse or another. He has given several people here that called on the ad "slightly different" information. Supposedly had all these complete machines, like 20+. If I can't see a pic, or if someone can't give me a list, I'm not spending a dime or minute of my time to find out otherwise. BE ADVISED.....Konami likes to use a "Programming Key". It looks like a large coin battery in a plastic holder. It slides into a holder on the MPU board.
VERY VERY hard to find and I have been told they can be "Game Specific". In other words, the one that fits my "Advantage" wont fit this Video Slot...
Is it worth $800? Not to me....I picked up a WMS 550 upright for $1000. No shortage of "Support" for the WMS-550...
