I'm using the CHAMII+.  1.3 won't work, you need 1.2. I'll let you know what the settings are but I'm using 2.07 of the firmware so it may not match what yours are.

I just decided to try and download some more files from the CD you sent, so I cleared the flash and now I can't seem to get any files off the CD.

I just burned (sucessfully) 2 DVD's for you and will have them in the mail ASAP. CD burner still   !! Guess it is time for an upgrade for my computer!

OH......................don't take them directly from the disc.........I had trouble with this also............Try copying them to a folder on your computer and then opening them.
Thanks!   Tim

One of the discs was a coaster and the other one was difficult to get files off of.  I did manage to get BETTY13 off the disc after several tries, buy since then the files can be copied, but they are corrupted so they won't load into the Supreme.

I probably should have sent you a copy in the beginning!    I just sent Jeff another 2...this time DVD's...since my CD burner is a pile of  ...but still does OK with DVD's....I Hope. I am going to send you (Joey) the originals that were sent to me as I can open the copies I have made. There are 2 discs....one with all the graphic stuff and several PSP's and programs in DOS that work with supremes and AGL and Mark 2 displays. The other disc has several 1 X 3 graphic displays and a bunch of DOS PSP's for CON1, CON2, and the graphic and overhead displays.
I will get them in the mail tomorrow.   Tim

Tim, here is a photo of QuaterMania off the CD.  Pretty neat animation with it spinning, folding  and reversing itself upside down.  The  length of the display in this photo is 4 feet long.

Looks GREAT!    :89-That is one of my favorites also.......and considering that all 6 of my IGT's are quarter machines...it fits too! I have quarter millions running along with this and also the mystery jackpot along with several others. Thanks for the picture!   Tim

Oh man.....

My buddies are going far and have been playing with their Mikohn toys... I have been away from them for a couple weeks now!

Well the Captain is back, but still trying to catch up after some marathon work travels. It has bee successful, and the goodies plundered will benefit the members of the site... soon some cool stuff will be available!

Also my bad Tim, I was supposed to give Joey a copy of the CD you sent me. I saw him in person and I forgot to give it to him!

Yeah, the Supreme is the least expensive part of the set-up.  The display and the CON2I will set you back big time.

That's what I was afraid of.  I can only take solace in the fact that I really don't have room to dispaly a majestic-like 4 foot sign with graphics display.  I'm happy with my linked setup for now.  At this poing, I'd rather save up for a poker machine (Gamemaker or even a Gameking).

There are 3 con2's in ebay right now.  Is there a way to tell if it's a con2i based on the connectors in the front?

No they are identical.  I emailed the seller asking for the info.  There should be a label on the side of the case that identiies what it is.  If it's says CON2 then it won't work with IGT.

If you read through the manual you will see that there are 2 different models of the CON2.......the CON2 A and the CON2 I.  The CON2 I is for IGT machines and the CON2 A is for all other machines.   The A model has a label on the side of the case with CON2 on it vs. the I model which has a CON2I label on it.  I don't know why the A is missing from the CON2A labels but that's the way they come. I originally purchased a CON2A from April and had to send it back in exchange for a CON2I.  The difference as I understand it is that communication protocal of IGT machines is different than other manufacturer's machines so the I model was made for IGT. The boards are different and the sample CON2 to IGT harness drawing in the manual even shows a hookup using a CON2I.

I think Tim can provide more on this subject.  His Mikohn connection in AC was the source of this information.

1K on 4 x 25c machines at 92%......about 3 nights should do it.....and I factored in a bit for your booze cost

Have parking room for my Cessna?
There is a way to run your other machines off of the I model. There is an interface unit that I ran across the manual for when I was trying to find something.............I forget what  I was looking for..........but it was on a forum that Jay pointed out to me. And there have been a few up for auction a wile back. They look like a tracking unit without the keyboard and display and have Bally written on the Eproms. I did not save it(the manual)......thinking that I would never need it. Well.   .............It will allow a CON2I to talk to both IGT through the coin in and converts bally, Sigma, and a few others to the same simple relay closing N/O switching. I read it because I thought that it would allow an IGT to talk to a CON2A...........No dice...............It's for an I model only. When I have time I will try to find it (The manual) for you.

IAD has lots of parking space........I'm 7 minutes away from there (by car that is).  You can visit the Air and Space Museum while you are out there and check out the Blackbird and the Space Shuttle.

Are you referring to a Bally Mastercomm 250 by any chance?

Con 2 for IGT......................there is a way to adapt controller for Igt machines;

You can cheat if you have a CON 2 by swapping the grounds and coin ins, on the pins to the controller, to get you up and running, but not really the done thing. You need CON2I’s for Igt's, as has been stated.

cheers

Ozzy, do you know this will in fact work, or is this in theory?  If it really will work, then those CON2A's on ebay would be a good buy if the price stays down in the range that they are at the moment.

Hi idesign

From the info I have gathered today this is a tried and tested shortcut on getting a con2 to work with Igt. No info on actual pin config but will persue further info, as if it is 100%. and am sure it is.................... you are correct, these con2's would be a good purchase.

Will get more info on config after the weekend as my informant will be on the road for the weekend.

cheers

Ozzy
